What if Christmas had originated in Africa? A high-tech Santa races across the midsummer earth, smartphone in hand, galloping alongside cattle beneath star-filled skies. Visiting this world—where history has flipped—is “another you,” traveling through the cosmos. A tale of another Christmas, where origins and futures, myth and modernity, intersect.

Twilight. Coming home from school, the warm aroma drifting from the kitchen—Dinner is being prepared. A small memory of love, wrapped in the quiet presence of a mother, continues to blossom deep within the heart. An interstellar journey to a nostalgic time and space, forever alive in the soul.

The goddess called Mother—the one who brought me to this planet. Standing in water, bearing the fruit of life, her womb cradles a child—a “mothership” outlined in light. Ripples extend into the cosmos,
then return gently to the Earth.

大都市の格差社会に漂う、リアルな危うさと緊張感。言語も文化も異なる、まだ見ぬ広大で複雑な世界は、私をまるで幼児のように感じさせた。心と街のノイズを握りつぶし、安心を与えてくれる。女神のかたちをしたロボットが、力強く守ってくれていた。

In the stark inequality of a sprawling metropolis, a raw tension and fragile sense of danger linger in the air. The vast and complex world—unfamiliar in language and culture—made me feel like a helpless child. Crushing the noise of both city and soul, a robot in the shape of a goddess stood guard, offering strength and a strange sense of peace.

My grandmother in Hokkaido has passed on. The miracle of seeing her one last time lives on in my heart. In her spirit’s gentle palm, she cradles me—before I was even born. Always connecting us across time and space is the Akkeshi Bridge.

A quiet room wrapped in the stillness of night. Coffee warms the air, as thoughts drift toward my mother. In the darkness, I sit alone—cradled by warmth, in a moment of silent prayer. Gazing at the starry sky beyond closed eyes. A piece inspired by Van Gogh’s Café Terrace at Night.

縁起の良い八つの手を持つ観音さま。太陽も月も、花も鳥も、そっと掌に乗せて優しく微笑む。合掌の中には、感謝の地球。組まれた足は、横たわる「8」——すなわち「∞」のかたち。森羅万象は時を超え、末広がりのご縁が無限に繋がってゆく。癒すことも、愛でることも、見守るすべては——あなたの心が映し出す宇宙。

An auspicious Kannon with eight graceful hands. The sun and moon, flowers and birds—rest gently in her palms as she smiles with quiet compassion. Within her joined hands lies the Earth, held in gratitude. Her crossed legs form a reclining “8”—the symbol of infinity. All of creation transcends time, and ever-expanding connections flow endlessly outward. To heal, to cherish, to watch over—all arise from the universe reflected in your own heart.

世界のすべてを輝かせてくれた天使が去った。視界はなくなり、癒えない哀しみに沈んだ。しかし、その先に広がっていたのは——より遥かに大きな世界。自分自身が宇宙だったのだと知る。ひとり、新たな世界線に立つ。

The angel who once lit up my entire world is gone. My vision faded, and I sank into a sorrow that would not heal. Yet beyond that grief lay a far vaster realm—a world beyond imagining. And there, I came to understand: I was the universe all along. Alone now, I stand on a new timeline.

龍が眠る湯に身をゆだね、今を生きる時間。湯気はやがて龍雲となり、空へと昇っていく。眺める夕日と、窓辺に揺れる鳥のおもちゃ。背には、鳥居と龍の鱗。火照った体を癒す、カクテルの一滴。龍と水に導かれるような人生。風になびくヤシの木のそば、てんとう虫が幸運を乗せ舞い降りる。

Soaking in the sacred waters where a dragon sleeps—a moment of living fully in the now. The rising steam becomes a dragon-shaped cloud, drifting into the sky. A setting sun in view, and a bird-shaped toy swaying by the window. On my back: a torii gate and dragon scales. A single drop of cocktail soothes my heated body. A life guided by dragons and water. Beside a palm tree swaying in the wind, a ladybug of fortune gently lands.

長い夜明けを待っていた白ウサギ。真っ暗な海を越え、やがて現れるのは大国主命。遠くの空が少しずつ明るくなり、窓辺の花々には色彩が灯る。優しく、そして強き魂とともに——新たな人生が、始まろうとしている。

The white rabbit had long awaited the dawn. Crossing the pitch-black sea, at last appears Ōkuninushi-no-Mikoto. The distant sky begins to brighten, and colors return to the flowers by the window. With a gentle yet resolute soul beside me—a new life is about to begin.

女神のように流れる川の裸身。今日も、心のままに渡る夜。白鳥座に浮かぶ、あの子の面影。天と地をつなぐ星還の木に想いを乗せて、星が見ていたのは、ふたりで登る夢。ゴッホの「ローヌ川の星月夜」をモチーフにした作品。

The bare body of a river, flowing like a goddess. Once again tonight, I cross it guided by the heart. In the constellation of Cygnus, her image floats—a trace of someone I once knew. Carrying my thoughts to the Tree of Return, bridging heaven and earth, the stars bore witness to a dream: two souls climbing together. A piece inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night Over the Rhône.

幼い頃から家族を見守ってくれていた桜の木。春を告げる鶯、神の使いのようなヤギは、きっとお迎えの合図だったのかもしれない。綺麗に伐られて、その姿はもうないけれど――あの桜は今も、胸の中で朗らかに咲き続けている。ありがとう。

The cherry tree that had watched over my family since I was a child. The warbler heralding spring, and the goat—like a messenger of the gods—perhaps they were signs of a gentle farewell. Though the tree has been neatly cut and stands no more, its presence still blooms brightly within my heart. Thank you.

On the rhythm of dancing waves, the shimmering back of a dragon appears. Reflected in a cup of water—Mount Fuji and the lingering glow of sunset. The water deity awakens, and sea and sky become one—guided by the lighthouse's beam, back to the origin of life.
